GENERAL ETIQUETTE POLICY
PhoneBin does not tolerate remarks or photographs that are in any form of bigotry.
These include but are not limited to;
a) Racist Slurs
b) Anti-Semitic or other derogatory remarks about philosophies and religions.
c) Offensive remarks based on gender or sexual preference.
Violation of community etiquette policy will result in a warning, sent via email.
Administration will take further steps, including banning an account, as situation deems necessary.
POLICY ON COMMENT POSTING
While PhoneBin does allow for all users to speak their minds freely there are certain rules that must be
adhered to within the commenting sections.
a) All posts within a particular comment must stay on topic to the photograph that they are being posted to.
b) The posting of comments is highly encouraged; however, these posts must remain constructive.
c) Attempts to "sidestep" any PhoneBin policy (which is to be ascertained by the webmaster based on the context
of the post or previous posts) is strictly forbidden.
The failure to follow any of the aforementioned rules will result in the thread being closed and possible
administrative actions concerning the users involved, in accordance with the rules described to and agreed
to by all users. It is up to the webmaster to interpret the intent of each post.
IMAGE REMOVAL
If you feel that a photograph does not meet the terms and conditions or the etiquette policy of the site,
please notify the webmaster via violations@phonebin.net with the following information:
a) Link to the photograph.
b) The reason you feel it should be removed.
Removal request are handled on a case by case basis.
IMAGE THEFT
PhoneBin will not tolerate plagiarism or "rips" - taking another image from the internet or any other
source and posting it as your own. Ripping is image plagiarism and theft.
PhoneBin considers the following image theft and plagiarism:
a) Posting another photographers material found inside the website or outside the website and claiming it as your own.
b) Posting a photograph from any source other than a photo-phone
If an photographer feels that they have been ripped, or is aware that another photographer has been ripped,
please notify the webmaster via violations@phonebin.net with the following information:
a) Link to the original photograph.
b) Link to the "ripped" photograph.
c) Whether this is a constant problem with the ripper.
d) Name of the ripper.
Ripping allegations are very serious, and handled on a case by case basis. As a general rule, should the offender
receive a warning for their first infraction, any continued theft will result in a ban.
SITE ABUSE
PhoneBin will not tolerate attempts to exploit or disrupt the layout, navigability or general use of the site.
Other intentional misuse will be treated as an exploit. Such actions disrupt the ability of the website to access
and view photographs, and are considered Site Abuse.
PhoneBin will issue no warnings for violations of this nature. Violators will be banned immediately upon the discovery of disruption or abuse.
All infractions are handled on a case-by-case basis. Warnings are sent via the email. Banishment may be removed upon
the webmasters review in such cases determined eligible by the webmaster, and the webmaster alone.
Requests to be unbanned from PhoneBin will be ignored.
